For me, the first thing I look at in a KPOP group is their dances. See, I may not be the best dancer in the world, but KPOP honed my full-potential as a dancer. So naturally for me, the dance of the song is almost as important as the song itself.

First and foremost, I do not advocate the use of Korean words in order to express ourselves as fans, but even I myself am sorely guilty of the crime of overusing them such as “Omo!” or “Aigoo…” or “YAH!” or most commonly “Oppa! Saranghaeyo! :””””>”. Now, the truth is, non-KPOP fans will never understand our need to use these words so often. Why? Because they haven’t been exposed long enough in the sunny rays of KPOP to unconsciously (and consciously) use these words. Leaders. How is it to be a leader in a KPOP group? Though it isn’t obvious at all, leaders are probably one of the most important factors in a group. Without the leader, there is no foundation. Without the leader, the group will most likely fall apart easily. Continue reading
